1. What Solara Docs Is

Solara Docs is a collaborative documentation platform that allows users to create, edit, organize, and share documents within teams and projects. The service is provided as a cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product.

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. One person, one account — do not create multiple accounts.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Payment Terms

Billing: Paid plans are billed monthly. You are charged a flat monthly fee based on your selected plan — not based on usage.

Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time. When you cancel, you retain full access to your paid plan for the remainder of your current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.

No hidden fees: The price listed on your plan is the full price. There are no additional transaction fees, service charges, or surprise costs.

All payments are securely processed through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.

4. Your Data & Privacy

Your data belongs to you. Any documents, projects, and content you create on Solara Docs remain your intellectual property.

We do not sell your data. Your personal information, usage data, and document contents are never sold, shared with, or provided to third parties for advertising or any other commercial purpose.

Data is stored securely and is strictly used to provide and improve the Solara Docs service. We may collect basic analytics (such as page views and feature usage) to improve the product, but this data is never tied to your documents or shared externally.

If you delete your account, your data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

5. Acceptable Use

There are no hard limits on how you use the features within your plan tier. However, to keep the service running smoothly for everyone, we reserve the right to take action if an account is found to be abusing the platform.

Resource abuse includes:

Creating excessive numbers of projects or documents with no real content or purpose (e.g. spam projects, empty placeholder docs, automated bulk creation).

Using the platform in a way that is clearly intended to waste server resources rather than for genuine documentation work.

Enterprise plan users creating over 100 projects must be using them for legitimate purposes.

If we determine that an account is abusing resources, we may contact you first to resolve the issue. If the abuse continues, your subscription may be revoked and your access to the platform may be terminated.

You also agree not to use Solara Docs for any illegal activity, to distribute malware or harmful content, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data, or to interfere with the operation of the service.

6. Service Availability

We aim to keep Solara Docs available 24/7, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. The service may experience occasional downtime for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen technical issues.

We are not liable for any losses or damages resulting from service interruptions, data loss, or downtime. We strongly recommend keeping local backups of critical documents.

7. Limitation of Liability

Solara Docs is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solara Docs and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Account Termination

By you: You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

By us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in resource abuse as described in section 5, or use the platform for illegal purposes. We will attempt to notify you before taking action unless the violation is severe.

If your account is terminated due to a terms violation, you are not entitled to a refund for any remaining subscription period.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or through a notice on the platform. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
